COPTHILL SCHOOL - AUTUMN 2019 NEWSLETTER

Head''s News

A privilege, every day

It is always an immense source of pride to me to welcome visitors to Copthill School. Whether they are children whose parents might want them to join our school, prospective parents, visiting headteachers, representatives from ISA (our association) or ISI (our inspecting body), guests who are sharing their expertise and experience with our children through assemblies and classroom activities or even simply my mum, without fail everyone comments on the warmth and friendliness of our school, the well-mannered behaviour of our children and the feeling that this is a school where childhood matters.

It is when I see our school through the eyes of these visitors that I take a moment to pause and reflect on just how privileged I am to be part of such a close community, in such a unique setting, with such a special history. I hope this review helps you to see what I am lucky enough to experience every day.

With best wishes to you all for a peaceful and restful Christmas and a happy 2020.
